E30 m3 led headlight update, check light is gone!!

So after swaping things over, checking the bulbs and some general head scrathing, i trued something dumb..typically led bulbs wont light up when the pos. And neg. Are swapped...these did though, i flipped the connector and now they work with no low beam out message. Fyi for those trying them out.

I just made the switch bc i had replaced 2 halogens in 4 months. I will have to try that before adding an inline resistor

These are plug and play with the resister packs in the package, super happy with them

I needed a day to get some money together because your car is so much newer than mine, you couldnt wait and now my dream car is at some used car lot that wont take cars with gold bbs wheels in on trade!!! Its your fault not mine!!! Now ill never get a burgandy 1 series!!!

Mine have resistor packs but also say in the literature that there may need to be an extra dongle for eurocars 2005 and newer. They will send free of charge of i need them

Posts like this make me consider an LED headlight upgrade...did you guys have to modify your headlight casings/bulb caps to have these fit?

Not at all, thats why i did this vs hid.. it was a little bit if a pain with the clips for the h1 bulbs, but not a big deal at all... it took me half an hour..

Think my car takes H4s...my issue is I’m not sure how well they’d work with the reflectors in my ‘09 Accent as the reflector surface is a lot larger than in your M3. I also need a new drivers’ side headlight assembly as a clip on mine is broken...

I have the elipsoid projector in mine so the beam is more focused and the cut offs are distinct

Mine are h11 they just clipped right in. The hardest part was getting my airbox out of the way to fit my hand in.
